Do you have a collection of natural objects with history and memories to share? Do you have a favorite location or landscape that you would like to see transformed into a wearable art piece and expressed in words? These are just a couple of ways you could inspire the creation of a garment in a new collection of Wrapped in Nature.
The sponsor will be mentioned during every performance of this piece, and noted in all social media & web presence, as long as it lives…. which I anticipate years, with minor maintenance. Sponsorship includes 2 complimentary tickets for every show the garment is shown. $2,500

Nature from Napatree Point
The first Saturday of the new year, I bundled up, ate a hearty breakfast at Owl & Dove, & walked the sandy beach at Napatree Point. Along the way I collected shells, and many small pieces of driftwood. The wind made the walk a challenge and brought consciousness to this exercise I often take for granted, and I certainly questioned my stamina. But when I settled into the terrain, and started to notice the things that light up my receptors, I found my peace with nature. And what a joyful and abundant day it became.

Nature from Happy Trails
My first mountain bike excursion of the season was on a warm Sunday morning with plans to ride to Connecticut, but it only took riding 1 mile and a right turn into the woods to discover more than we could have imagined. A flat tire gave us time to pause and notice a chestnut oak sapling, and wonder where is the tree from which it came? As we charged along on our wheels, a bird call had us brake in curiosity to discover that a scarlet tanager was calling to us. We decided to backpedal to seek a glimpse of its feathers, and in so doing, we found a grove of chestnut oaks. Can you imagine all that nature is trying to impart on us when we decide to listen? These chestnut oaks revealed their pyramid-shaped capsules which will inspire a garment and a chance to ponder synchronicity and the abundance that is near. I did not need a plane ticket or to schedule in advance for this trip, it was awaiting me! Perhaps we do not need to go as far as we often think to recalibrate, maybe it’s as simple as just taking a new path nearby.
